Certification Information: National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)

Certification sets a standard that reflects that the medical staff services professional has the knowledge necessary to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the institution where they are employed and its medical staff members, as well as meeting the requirements of the institution’s and/or medical staff’s bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and other applicable regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Certification also provide for professional growth and personal satisfaction.

NAMSS offers two certification opportunities:

  • Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM)
  • Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
