Mid-Missouri Chapter
The Mid-Missouri Chapter of Missouri Association for Medical Staff Services was officially organized in September 1995 with 5 charter members. The Chapter Bylaws were officially adopted at this meeting. The Chapter has grown to 17 members. The Chapter members come from the entire Central Missouri region, extending north to Mexico, MO and south to Houston, MO and all facilities in between. The mission of the chapter is to increase networking capabilities, educational opportunities and serve as a resource to all area medical staff services professionals. Chapter members are encouraged to become certified as CPCS or CPMSM. The Chapter welcomes all medical staff services personnel in the area to contact any chapter member regarding membership. 2010 Officers

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of MoAMSS holds it meetings on the third Friday of every quarter (January, April, July and October). Meetings include a 1– 2 hour-long educational topic, followed by a chapter business meeting. Continuing Education Units are offered to each dues paying member for each educational topic presented. The Greater St. Louis Area Chapter of MoAMSS holds its meetings quarterly, alternating between eastern Missouri and western Illinois locations. Meetings alternate between the 2nd Wednesday and 2nd Thursday and usually include a 1-hour educational topic, followed by a chapter business meeting, and concluding with a 1-hour round-table discussion session. Continuing Education Units are offered for each educational topic presented and round-table discussion session. The cost to attend is free to members. 2010 Officers
